The system is ingenious but dangerous: the more content we consume, the better the algorithms understand us. They continuously refine their recommendations, leading us to spend more time scrolling and watching. This creates a vicious cycle: increased engagement leads to better recommendations, resulting in more time online – time often stolen from our sleep.
